Hello, Just started using and love it ! I downloaded the Beta 3.2 for mac os x and noticed a banner indicating the built in VPN service on the website - just wanted to check how to use this vpn service. i.e. do I need to install or configure something to get the vpn to work ?

The other question was about audio and download issues on Mac. I noticed a similar issue from another user so I guess that is a known issue.
thanks!

Hey all,

We see there's a bit of confusion about the VPN- apologies if it's our fault...

At the moment the VPN is available for PC only- but don't you worry all Mac users, or Android!!! Eventually VPN will be available on all operating systems... Just one system at a time, it takes some time... 8-)

Mac is in the working, and Android will follow!

Hello.

Is it also possible for me to see "my" VPN IP?
Then I can shurely believe it ;) ?

It is the same situation, If i see "my" TOR-Browser exit node IP on a "My-IP"-Site.

Only for the good feeling ;-D .

I have a similar question, when I use other vpns I like to check the status on one of those ip sites as well, not seeing it when i select vpn on. The other thing I am seeing or not seeing is the file download.

if I select vpn..padlock turns red then if i try to stream a movie it never downloads, seems to only download for me if vpn is off then I can turn it on once movie is done streaming but I'm not sure if that is even doing anything to hide your ip at that point.

Your IP is not hidden when you turn off the VPN to download the movie.

This VPN is specially built in to prevent your IP from being public in the meanwhile of downloading a movie.
So when you turn on the VPN while downloading the movie, your IP will be hidden.

This problem is probably not your PC, but your connection with the VPN, it's just too slow.
But there's not a huge risk of watching/streaming a movie using time4popcorn. You can just watch a movie without VPN and no worries.

Normally I don't post, but some of the things I'm seeing requires it. The VPN does not work, it does not mask your IP for your location. I tested it like maybe 10 times and my ISP shows up nice and clear so be warned.

One other thing when the VPN is on I have doubts as to whether it connects to anything, of course I could be wrong
