Popcorn Time - Forum

Hey all!

We worked through the night on a new update for beta 4.3 which has a few bugs fixes..

Everyone who's been experiencing issues with the initial release - device not found, casting not starting, no sound etc... Please download the update from our homepage and see if it solved the issues you've been having! (And let us know of course).

Please make sure before you download it that Popcorn Time is closed on your computer.

This is great news! Been hearing alot of problems regarding those issues, so it's good to know it's being taken care of!

There can still be issues, therefore it's even more important for us now, after this update to hear what the users who have been experiencing issues are saying...

VPN works for me now .
Did you fix it on this new beta or VPN provider solve the problem ?

i took this new 4.3 Alpha Down. It is stil just searching for streaming devices and do this all the time. So it is still not working. My iphone finds the appelTV, Itunes Find the AppelTV and the torrenTV find the AppelTV. those two fom the same computer as the P4T 4.3 So sorry it is not working. Windows7 Ultimate 64bit.

uninstalled the Alpha 4.3 and downloaded the beta 4.3
Sorry it didnot help. I also uninstalled all java and reinstalled java. no help it is the same error with appeltv. It is not found.

Pop now works with cromecast (Win 7), but there is a problem with transferring subtitle.

Installed 4.3 beta and still no connection to chromecast. In fact I'm not getting the little box at bottom no more.
Also still can not use vpn.

I updated from 4.3 Alpha to 4.3 Beta.

On Alpha my chromecast would not show up. On the Beta it shows up, but does not work.

It says "Launching Streaming" in Popcorn Time and gets stuck there, while the Chromecast (TV) looks like it's loading the video but it never starts playing.
