We have a small request/clarification regarding this forum:
This forum is for all of us and we need all of you to pitch in as much as you can!!!
Let's make this community all about helping one another, sharing issues, helping each other solve problems...
This is our vision for this forum- help us make it happen
As much as we'd love to answer everyone within a minute or two of them posting something, we're UBER busy fixing, creating, and doing everything within our power to make Popcorn Time brilliant for all of you!

So anyone who can pitch in here, a little bit, a little more- will be appreciated.

We're all in this together- lets make Popcorn Time ROCK!!!!!!!!!

Congratulation for the program! it´s excellent.

I dont know what happened, but I installed popcorn on my pc and laptop, but in the laptop the subtitles never charge, even when de movie or tv show says it have, any suggestion?

How do you try to do it? You have to start the movie first, then choose language for subs

I would love to help here wherever I can and I promise to be more active You are right- we're all in this together... And to be honest, I'd rather you invest your precious time on working on the iPad app than answering here... Hehehe, yes selfish, I know, but my iPad is begging for some Popcorn!!!!!! Lol

I do that, but now i see the problem is that in the laptop I have Windows 8, thas the problem, Popcorn doesn´t work very well in Windows 8

Being in this all together I would like to recommend some more site staff, the forum is quickly being over run by threads posted by bots pushing everything from Nikes to Audis. Also there have been multiple threads posted covering an identical issue or suggestion and having a few moderators around could quickly fix these issues and make the board more user friendly.

Trust me, they will respond. It took me some time to have my email answered as we'll, but they did it.
Give them time, they are very busy. Especially with all the requests for the program coming up, and all the bugs and such (;

I think they've noticed that. All we/you can currently do to help is to report the threads with the spam, and the current admin will take care of it, until they have the time to take applications in for moderators and such.

Hey man,
First of all, thanks for your awesome intentions and apologies we haven't responded to any of your attempts to contact us.... We're juggling all the development which takes up 103% of our time and in the remaining time we're trying to respond to all our users reaching out to us via 5 different platforms!!! So, we can't get to them all unfortunately and sometimes it can take us more than a month to answer someone's simple question..
We are getting better at it... Or perhaps it's Popcorn Time which is getting better so people have less things to report
As for helping us with developing, believe us there is nothing we would love more than getting our community's help. There are such awesome talented developers out there, we're sure you're one of them as well.
BUT -
We can't accept code from our users as we believe with all the Popcorn Time circumstances, it is not safe. Before starting this project we made sure to cover our tracks completely because "not everyone likes Popcorn Time and is happy to have an app like Popcorn Time alive and kicking"... We don't know why the original project was taken down, but in order to insure that something like this won't happen to us, we are taking every possible precaution to ensure that. And the last thing we want to do is put one of our users at risk god forbid... So this is the bottom line.
We can use another 100 helping hands, but can't accept one line of code anyone not from our team suggested because that could risk him and that's just not fair.
