Hey there!

Just updated to version 4.4 for mac. I'm using a macbook pro, OS X 10.8.5.
A few things I noticed:
I was trying to watch a series, and if I paused for too long (maybe 10 min) the episode wouldn't start playing when I unpaused it.
When watching while downloading, if the donwloading was slow and video reached it in the middle of the episode, I had to close it and reopen, otherwise it wouldn't start playing again - even after the download completed.
Also, unlike the last version I had installed, when I tried clicking on the bar to jump to a further location on the episode, it would restart it, instead of going to the place I clicked. So, overall, the bottom bar was a downside from the update. - the older one was great!
One thing that I really liked and that I didn't find in this new version is the option to make the subtitles bigger or smaller..
Oh! And after the update, all my bokmarks were gone :(

Thank you so much for the initiative on this project guys! It is AWESOME!

Unable to connect to chrome cast. Appears to be in a constant searching mode, just the blue lines moving but not connecting. I worked earlier in the day, but in the evening was no longer working.

I try playing a movie/show and it goes for a while, freezes up, and then starts playing audio from about 10 seconds before it froze with no picture... this is the 720p. The HDTV option isnt even WORKING. I redownloaded 3 times, reinstalled, and all that stuff and it just isnt working. Waay to buggy. Ive tried waiting a while also. :l My computer is good and should play this easily... Also, on one of the reinstalls, i installed K-lite codec pack also thinking that would help. It didnt do anything to help me. Earlier today i was able to watch movies just fine.

The attachement shows when i try to play in HDTV, but in 720p (only other option) It'll do that stop thing and play audio and a lot of the time the thing freezes up and i cant touch the progress bar, volume, minimize screen button or even the X button to get out of the show.

Everything was ok until today. them..

Chromecast appears to be in a constant searching mode, just the blue lines moving but not connecting. I worked earlier in the day, but in the evening was no longer working.

Hey guys,

I am just wondering if I'm doing something wrong...
When I start-up PopcornTime, and turn on the VPN, it will not allow me to watch any of the movies.
It just goes to the screen where it should start to download and then just sits there showing:

0/0 (red lock) 0 kb/s starting download 0%

and it just hangs there. I have tried a couple different movies now and nothing seems to happen.
If I turn off the VPN (which I would rather not do), it seems to start downloading without a hitch.

Any ideas?

(ps. i also have Peerblock running in the background and i tried turning peerblock off when the VPN was on and still had no luck, i was however, able to watch Transformers last night with peerblock on and the VPN off and didn't have a problem, just wondering if there is a work around for the VPN to work as well.)

Thank-you, I really appreciate the service that you guys are providing and working so hard on.

Hey,
I have problems with casting popcorn time to my TV.
I'm pressing the casting icon and chose my specific chromecast but nothing happens.
(the chromecast works ok with other programs)
Any ideas?
Thanx

Wish I had never updated!! sure browsing is lightning fast now but to start watching a movie now takes forever and if you minimize the window it mucks up the video

And for now subtitels are just stopped...
i have subs on my imac but for some reason it just stop casting to the CC.
Also having more problems starting the program and hangs in the first screen.
After some time it's working but no subs.. so strange like the problem is at you side of the server..
It was working good.
