Maby most users are missing a part of software ore missing some lib that is needed to cast the subs.
just a tough couse it seems that most users have problems casting subs tot the CC

Can you post a youtube video on how you get the subs to work ?
Is your cc rooted ?
A lot of use can not get the subs to work,what is the diverance ?
I have the latest cc update and work on windows 8.1 also latest update and time4popcorn 4.4 beta.

I do the same as in you movie and on my PC it also works the same but only on my Chromecast TV no subs.
Like in your movie everything works the same on my computer but after pressing cast to Chromecast the movie shows fine but without subtitles.
I run Windows 8.1 64Bits on ethernet
Chromecast built 19084 no root
Internet Ziggo 90 Mb/s
TV LG Smart TV
Perhaps you system is the diverance.

Hii,

Chromecast seemed to work pretty well. Only my batterie of the laptop died, charged it and then the film continued. Pretty nice, only the subtitle didn't play along with it.
Want to start the film over and now I can't skip to a certain time. Need to wait until the whole film is loaded. Only on the Chromecast you can't see when this is. Sometimes you can skip only then the film is stuck and need to restart the process all over again...

O and the subtitels on the chromecast are not cut wel. The lines are way to long and fall out of the screen. (font size normal)

Version 0.4.4

Windows 7 x64, i7, 80Mbps ethernet connection

Bugs:
-the voice is going on/off/on with crackles between after rewinding
-after rewinding to to the place where movie is still not buffered (where 'timeline' is still not blue) the time counter goes on, but the there is no image or sound no matter how long I would wait
-whole application is a little slower than previous version

I don't have any of those bugs while using android version

When casting a movie etc. the subtittles are not shown on my television.
I have tried multiple times (Pausing movie be4 picking subs and cast and so on)
To make 100% sure im not just doing it wrong i state it out here:
I find a movie, choose the source (720p at top of list), checking the languge i want is supported (I've tried many diffrent languges, no ones work), click the blue botton "WATCH IT NOW", waiting for the film too load, hitting pause when i can, choosing a subtittle i want, click on the castin-icon, and then play aigen (Ive tried w/o pausing, choosing subs after casting and so on)

I was really looking forward for this future

By the way, im using windows 8.1 x64, and of course version 4.4 beta

Today i turned on my pc, started up popcorn time, casting a movie with subtittles works perfectly for me now, and ty very much popcorn time, very glad for this future. I dont know if there has been a "hidden update" or simply that i restart my pc for the first time after installed the new version 4.4

Windows 7. Recently uninstalled previous version and upgraded to 4.4.

Antivirus doesn't like updater.exe containing 'Suspicious.Cloud.5' - any explanation for this?

Then, for the majority of all movies, I click and start download. Flips to play scree, but nothing happens, just looks like the attached image.

The subtitels are placed a bit higher on Chromecast. This makes for the subs are going right on the 2:35 line, making it bigger or smaller doens't have any affect.
Like others sound is going on and of after skipping. (mac)
On the mac normal screen there is a bigger black line in the underline. Making the possition of the video pretty high on screen.

Suggetion: Something like an watched button or option. This way we all can keep track on what we watched.

It is working now i don't know what happend but it is working fine.
