Known Issues with Beta 4.2, Alpha 4.3 (Windows users)

Hey Community,

Below is a list of the main issues some of you are experiencing on Windows.
We are working on solving these issues and you all can greatly help us by commenting on this post if you're experiencing on of the below bugs and specify the following things:
* What exactly is happening on your computer? How this bug "expresses itself" (for lack of better phrasing)
* What Windows version you're running?
* Are you connected to the internet with a Wi-FI connection or a direct connection?
* To those who know a little bit more about internet connections: Please let us know if you have some virtual internet connections enabled, and if so, what they're named
* And any other detail you think can be relevant!!

The list of (ANNOYING) Bugs:

1. Can't get through the starter screen (with Pochoclin's "bling bling share this software" picture)

2. I manage to get past the starter screen (with Pochoclin's...

) but everything is black screen from that point on...

3. Can't get through the installation process and install Popcorn Time.

4. Casting device is not found (Chromecast support, alpha 4.3)

5. Casting device is found, but casting to TV doesn't work

6. Casting device is found, it casts to TV, but without sound.

Other bugs/features which we're planning on fixing in upcoming releases and please don't bring them up on this thread (because we want to keep this thread focused on the bugs above):

1. Subtitles encoding issues in different languages (gibberish)
2. Choppy sound in some cases
3. Subtitles size not changeable
4. Fast forwarding not enabled
5. TV shows subtitles
6. Chromecast subtitles
7. Watch later/favorites/any other sorting option feature

**Our beloved Mac users, we are aware that there are many issues in the current Mac version and we want to assure you that a new Mac version will be released in 2 weeks approx, a version which will rock your world!!!!! So a little bit more patience, we're on it! 8-)

Glad you added a list. Maybe consider making a Q&A list somewhere on the forum where people can figure out the problems themselves, on the issues already known how to be fixed (;

Please add to the bug list.. only one chrome cast is showing even when you have more..

I downloaded the Alpha 4.3 version because I wanna try the chromecast support. But I can't find the cast button. I am using Win 8.1.
I saw on fanpage that i am not alone. Please, fix it

Ok another issue, while starting casting aim getting failed to initialized i also see some chrome tab's opened in the background.. the result is it won't work..
After clearing the history, and starting over it works.. and sometime not.. looks like its working random.
If the movie starts it works very well with good sound for me and a good picture, no stuttering.

Using old laptop with windows 8.1 kabel connected. i hope you can use this info.

Hi all,

I am getting perfect video casting but NO sound/audio! I have tried adjusting volume on my computer and my cast, as well as my TV.

Any fixes yet?

Tried to install Beta 4.2, and Alpha 4.3. Both got stuck.

*The installation gets stuck near the end, and says to check my connection.
*Windows 8.
*WiFi.

tried installing alph 4.3 several times each time install goes ok i keep getting please share this software screen.

im using windows 7, isp is talk talk fibre i have installed alph 4.3 and used with no problems on my uncles pc running windows 7 .
